'Swanning Around' - Round 20, 2012 Wrap.

After turning up to training in a less than satisfactory state (even worse than his unusually rotund physical state!), and with players suspecting he had spent the night prior sinking piss with mates, Swan was found to have breached team rules. As a result, the club has suspended him for 2 matches, which will put a MAJOR dent in his back-to-back Brownlow aspirations.

Since Round 11, he has hit a patch of form that is arguably better than last year, with my tally predicting him to poll in 6 out of the next 9 matches that follow - all but 1 of which are within the 2-3 vote range. But with a club imposed suspension, he will be reliant on other contenders in Watson, Thompson, Ablett, and Cotchin faltering. With that much competition he can all but kiss goodbye any possibility of becoming a dual Brownlow medallist in 2012.

But who knows, stranger things have happened. Heck, he won the Brownlow last year, despite having a season that was arguably more underwhelming than his 2010 season!

Below is a list of those who I thought were 'KEY PLAYERS' in each match. Take note that I am deliberately randomising the list, and in no way does the order I list them in reflect who I think will get the 3, 2, 1's.
